Public Works
The City of Westmorland public works department has 5 employees and owns and operates its own water & wastewater treatment plants. The primary water source is the Colorado river, delivered by the Imperial Irrigation District to the city via the All American canal and the Westmorland canal. The water treatment plant currently has a capacity of approximately 2.0 million gallons a day (MGD), which is capable of providing adequate service for the entire city.
